Cancellation Policy
I request a minimum of 24 hours notice for a change or cancellation of appointment, except in the case of an emergency. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, outside of an emergency, you will be responsible for the cost of the session.
If you need to change/cancel outside of business hours, please call and leave a voicemail, text, or email. Or, if you booked online, you can also use the online scheduling portal to change/cancel your session up to 24 hours in advance.
Most sessions are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, although same day sessions are possible depending on my calendar. If you are in serious pain or in desperate need of time on the table, please don't hesitate to reach out and we can see what might be available.

About
K (they/them) is a deeply devoted, skilled, and educated Massage Therapist with over 1000+ hours of training and 10 years of professional experience. They graduated in 2016 from Hands on Healing Institute in Tujunga, CA, and again from The Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts in Carson City, NV. In addition, they have studied Neurokinetic Therapy with David Weinstock, Prenatal Massage with Juliette Tanzi of South Lake Tahoe, as well as continuing education in Anatomy, Physiology, and rehabilitative exercise/physical therapy. They have also studied Herbalism for the past 8 years, which interweaves with and informs their practice.
Most of K’s career has been dedicated to specializing in Injury Rehabilitation, Recovery, and Prevention, and the importance of nourishing the body in all ways to achieve optimal healing. They are a firm believer that embodiment - relationship building between the individual and their body - and integrating one’s experiences into a felt and vibrant way of moving through the world, is the bedrock of living a healthful life!

'I can't say enough about the deep tissue massage I received today from K. They would even have to be ranked as the best therapist I have ever been to. They have so many skills that it would be difficult to name them all. They are intuitive about what is going on in the body as there were times they knew certain spots on me that were having trouble before I even knew. They are extremely educated as it was very clear that they have extensive knowledge of the various modalities and methods which can meet each individual needs. 'I have had some good massages, some really bad massages, and even some "why did I even come here?" massages. Then I had K... My best friend is a massage therapist so to say I've had a lot of massages is an understatement. Y'all, when I tell you I was transported to another time and place... whew!!! K started working on me and checked if I had any problem areas, how I liked the pressure, and made sure the pressure was good after starting and that's all I remember! THEIR HANDS ARE MAGIC!!!! I caught myself falling asleep!! I'm always hyper-aware of my surroundings even when I try to relax, I never fully can. They knocked me out!! TWICE!!
